NRG Taps TikTok Sensation Boina as New Midday Show Co-Host

Following the circulation of leaked photos featuring former Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya, Mary Biketi, the woman depicted, has come forward to clarify their relationship status.
She firmly denies any involvement in leaking the images, asserting herself as Oparanya's wife in a recent interview with local media.
Biketi confidently acknowledges Oparanya's polygamous nature, stating, "I am not afraid. He is a polygamous man and I respect the other wives."
She acknowledges the negative impact the leaked photos had on their families and Oparanya's political career.

Further, Biketi addresses misconceptions about their relationship, clarifying that her reference to him as 'daddy' may have led some to mistakenly assume she was his daughter.
Oparanya himself acknowledges the authenticity of the leaked photos, expressing disappointment over the invasion of privacy and lamenting, "Those are very genuine photos. I don't know why someone wastes time trying to circulate them, but it's unfortunate."
He further emphasizes frustration with the press's involvement, stating, "Wherever I took those photos, they leaked it to the press."

CNN International has recently expanded its team with the addition of Kenyan journalist Victoria Rubadiri. Rubadiri joins CNN for a pivotal role in the multiplatform series dubbed 'Connecting Africa'. This move not only bolsters the show's team as it enters its fifth year but also amplifies fresh African narratives on the global stage.
Victoria Rubadiri, who formerly worked as a senior anchor and reporter at Citizen TV for six years, will contribute to both the 30-minute monthly show and CNN’s news operations in Nairobi.
Hosted by CNN anchor and correspondent Eleni Giokos, 'Connecting Africa' delves into dynamic business ventures across the continent, aligning with significant economic frameworks like the African Continental Free Trade Agreement to boost continental trade and economic growth.
Before joining CNN, Rubadiri had a successful broadcasting career in Kenya at Citizen TV and NTV and as a radio presenter in the US. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Temple University, Philadelphia.
Rubadiri expressed her excitement about her new role: “I’m extremely excited for the opportunity to work at CNN and to bring my experience and passion to its global audience. 'Connecting Africa' champions the people, projects, and companies revolutionizing African business, and I’m looking forward to working alongside Eleni and the team to get out on the ground and tell these stories.”
